Danilo conferma gli ottimi tempi fatti nei test di fine agosto ed è veloce con gomme nuove. Montella fatica un po’ di più in Supersport ed è tredicesimo alla fine della prima giornata
Tripletta Ducati nel venerdì di Aragón, decimo round del WorldSBK. Danilo Petrucci conclude la giornata subito dietro i piloti ufficiali Bautista e Rinaldi, i tre sono raccolti in 0.171s.
Nelle FP1 il pilota del Barni Spark Racing Team ha fatto registrare il miglior giro nel primo run (1’50.613) – terzo miglior crono della sessione – poi ha lavorato sull’assetto per trovare la performance anche con gomme usate, riscontrando da subito un degrado della gomma che rende difficile mantenere un ritmo gara veloce.
Nelle FP2 Petrux è riuscito ad abbattere il muro dell’ 1’50 ed ha chiuso la giornata terzo nella classifica combinata. Il suo 1’49.825 – a un decimo e mezzo dal leader Bautista e a 0.077s da Rinaldi – completa una prima fila virtuale tutta Ducati.
Mattinata positiva anche per Yari Montella in Supersport, sesto dopo le FP1 (1’54.998). Il pilota campano non è riuscito a confermarsi nel pomeriggio dove ha migliorato il suo tempo sul giro solo di pochi millesimi (1’54.993), scivolando così in tredicesima posizione nella classifica generale.

“Stamattina siamo partiti da una buona base ed è stato un turno positivo. Le modifiche che abbiamo fatto nel pomeriggio, invece, non hanno pagato. Dobbiamo ritrovare la strada che ci permetta di essere competitivi in gara”.
